Private Solo Sessions
A 50 minute long session is available to give you the added scrutiny from the instructor that group scenarios don’t always allow. Having a 1:1 session is a great opportunity to have the very individual habits of your body addressed specifically as we can work with your care team to continue on your path to progress. Also perfect for those who want help working on something specific or just aren’t ready to join a group yet. Your private sessions will prepare you for group class success by teaching you any necessary machine settings or modifications you may need. If you’d like to have a friend join you in the private session then please phone us so we can add your friend.
For clients who are novices with Pilates reformer it is recommended to start with a Private lesson either solo or with 1 or 2 of your friends so you can feel comfortable with the equipment before integrating into small group classes.
Similarly, clients (or patients) modifying for joint injuries, spinal conditions, pregnancy or other special cases are STRONGLY encouraged to schedule a private lesson before integrating into small group classes.
What should I wear?
Clothes that you feel comfortable in that allow natural and free movement. Inside the studio the sessions are conducted either in socks or bare feet. We recommend non-slip socks and we have a selection of these on sale at reception. Please bring your own water bottle for personal use.
