Jeff and Julia Marr opened J.Marr Physiotherapy in 1993. Previous to this, both had worked in NZ, within the Public Hospital system and Private Practice. Opening up their own clinic enabled Jeff & Julia to develop their own style and bring innovation and the latest physiotherapy techniques to the South Auckland area.
Since those early days, the clinic has relocated to its current site on the corner of Great South & Sutton Roads, Drury and seen the clinic expand in personnel and services offered. It now also includes satellite clinic services in Clevedon.
Subsequently, recent contracts with ACC in delivering physiotherapy services, reflect our accreditation standing. Other ACC contracts include providing Physiotherapy Rehabilitation services under the Activity Based supervised exercise programmes.
We believe that in terms of safety, availability and convenience our group practice and roster system can offer the highest standard of physiotherapy care and rehabilitation. With this in mind our affordable price structures reflect our desire to bring outstanding services and skills to anyone who requires physiotherapy.

J.Marr Physiotherapy became an accredited physiotherapy clinic with the NZ Physiotherapy Accreditation Scheme, attaining their highest standard in 2000. Since then, Accreditation Certification under Allied Health Services Sector Standards 8171:2005 has seen the clinic assessed by HDANZ, an independent Healthcare Auditing Agency. Patients should feel confident that this clinic achieves the highest standards under the current legislation and we endeavour to exceed these where possible.
We are also a member of Physiotherapy New Zealand.
