Women's Health / Incontinence

Research has shown that the pelvic floor responds to regular exercise just as any other muscle does. With the correct exercise it is possible to reduce or completely overcome the symptoms of a weak pelvic floor - regardless of age.

Weak or poorly toned pelvic floor muscles can lead to many problems including incontinence, low back and pelvic pain, reduced sexual response and reduced sporting performance.

Womens Health Physical Therapy and IncontinenceEmma McCosh, Physiotherapist is able to treat and assist patients with the these problems as well as patients with prolapses, bowel problems and pregancy related issues.

Leakage may be common but it is not normal. Don't let it rule your life.

Please contact Emma at J.Marr Physiotherapy on (09) 294 7062 or e-mail her at to enquire as to whether she can assist you or to book an appointment.
