Jeff MarrJeff Marr Director, Physiotherapist

Rebecca BlythRebecca Blyth BHSc (Physiotherapy) PG Cert (Sports Physiotherapy)

Graduated from AUT in 2015 and is currently working towards a Masters of Sports Physiotherapy at Otago University. Rebecca plays football for Papakura Women’s Premier football team.

To relax Rebacca enjoys playing and watching a variety of sports.

Katherine ForchKatherine Forch Inner Level Physiotherapy

Katherine works in partnership with the team at J Marr Physiotherapy to offer specialised visual and vestibular assessment. With a background in Sports Physiotherapy Katherine is currently completing her post graduate diploma in musculoskeletal physiotherapy with her masters to follow.

Katherine (and Inner Level Physiotherapy) currently provides visual and vestibular assessment services to several NZ sporting organisations, including High Performance Sport NZ, Equestrian NZ, NZRFU, Super Rugby Franchises, and the Counties Manukau, Northland, Waikato, Bay of Plenty, and Hawkes Bay Rugby Unions. She has been part of the team at the ACC Sports Concussion Centre of Excellence based at Axis Sports Medicine since it began in 2018. Katherine runs training workshops for other health professionals in this area and is a guest lecturer in the post graduate program at AUT.

After four years with Bombay RFC, Katherine can now be found working on the side lines for the Patumahoe Premier Team and enjoys a friendly rivalry with Rebecca Burch (Physiotherapist) and Jeff Marr whenever Bombay and Patumahoe meet!

Katherine is available to see J Marr clients at Drury or in Pukekohe, by arrangement.

Nicki Henry (Physiotherapist) NZRP MPNZ BHSc

Nicki Graduated from AUT in 2018 and previously worked as an assistant physiotherapist for Ellerslie Eagles Rugby League, Lynn Avon Football Club, and Cambridge High School Sports while at university. Nicki is interested in injury prevention and workplace injury rehabilitation and, is currently working towards completing a Diploma in Workplace Health and Safety Management.

For relaxation Nicki loves spending time outdoors hiking, skiing, and playing disc golf.

Rebecca Burch BHSc (Physiotherapist) NZRP MPNZ

Rebecca graduated from AUT in 2017. Having played various sports growing up Rebecca is passionate about Sports Physiotherapy, with a special interest in rugby. Rebecca has played rugby for College Rifles Thunderbirds and has also represented Auckland Storm in the Farah Palmer Cup. Rebecca is the current Team Physiotherapist for the Bombay Rugby Football Club.

As a diversion (away from Sport) and for relaxation Rebecca enjoys spending time with friends and family, reading a good book, and eating delicious food!

Sophie van der Pol BHSc (Physiotherapist) NZRP MPNZ

Sophie graduated in 2014 from the University of Otago. Sophie worked as a physiotherapist in a private clinic in Canterbury before commencing physiotherapy at Burwood Hospital (Christchurch). She has now made the transition up to Auckland. Sophie has experience as a team physio for both rugby and soccer and has a special interest in sports injuries as well as chronic conditions.

Sophie enjoys playing a variety of sports including soccer, Crossfit and rock climbing.


Acupuncture Franklin

Nicky and Elaine, the Good Health Girls are delighted to be part of the team at J Marr Physiotherapy. Nicky and Elaine bring a passion with them to improve the wellbeing of those in the community. They are traditionally trained ACC registered acupuncturists with more than 15 years of combined practice. Nicky is also a nurse and energy kinesiologist, helping people to find balance in mind and body. Elaine has an extensive background in nursing and midwifery. Alongside traditional oriental techniques Nicky and Elaine use herbs, homeopathy, bach flowers and supplements. We offer support for a wide range of health-related concerns and injuries.
